Rough times and journaling supplies

It's been a difficult couple of weeks. Some stresses sent me into a tailspin; I've been missing work, having to look into leave options to keep my job... Not fun. Having an invisible disability that intermittently disrupts your life makes it hard to get anything really good going.

That said, there have been some silver linings. My family has been immensely supportive. I have a better plan now than I did a week ago. And I'm feeling decent enough today to write this post.

I also recently did some rethinking of my journaling system, if it can be called that. I keep a diary that I write in the majority of days, and everything else is negotiable: sometimes I need a planner, sometimes I try out various specialty journals. This time, I am trying to keep things relatively condensed. I've been carrying around a notebook cover containing my diary, a calendar, and an "everything" notebook. I used an elastic cord to tie in the calendar in the middle the way the Traveler's Notebooks do that. I also put together a mini binder (personal/bible size, the paper being 95 mm x 170 mm) containing some planning sheets, some blank paper for me to write down things I want to keep on hand, and some random fun stuff I hole-punched. I may add some photos to this post later.
